Today is a new day for This redesign has been bouncing around in my head for some time now. I''ve always realized the importance of having a portfolio site, but until now I have always given other projects top priority. That is no longer the case. In an economy such as the one we currently are living through, I need to try to get my work, and more importantly my personality, out there for people. Since I have been designing for the web for so many years now (since 1997 or so, if you can believe that!), I figured it would be a perfect place for me to set up a more permanent residence.

So here I am. Here is my work. Here are my interests. Have a ball.

I am particularly excited about the section I am calling "found!design." Hopefully it will grow to be an enormous part of this site over the years. As some of you know, and most of you do not know, I am an avid "searcher." I love to spend my weekends just looking for cool stuff. Some of my favorite places are flea markets, thrift stores, second-hand shops, and junk piles. Weird. I know. But you can get some pretty cool stuff for pretty cheaply at these places. I focus on high design of the mid 20th century. Eames, Wright, Saarinen, and Seibel are only a few of the names you''ll hear me mutter (or exclaim!) in the pending rants about cool stuff I found in cool places in this little section of the site.

So please poke around and stay a while. Drop me an email. Let me know what you think. And feel free to give me any cool stuff you don''t want any more.
